El nuevo ciclo político en México es tema de reunión de GRI Club Infra

El 05 de julio, inversores y sponsors de los sectores de infraestructura y energía se reunieron en las oficinas de EY en la Ciudad de México, unos días después de las elecciones que eligieron al nuevo Presidente y congresistas del país. El encuentro estuvo enfocado en debatir sobre las áreas y acciones estratégicas de estos sectores para el próximo sexenio.

Al inicio de la reunión, los miembros de GRI revisaron brevemente las propuestas del presidente electo, Antonio Manuel López Obrador (Morena), y analizaron el momento actual del sector, cuáles son las principales fortalezas que el gobierno actual deja a su sucesor y la solidez de las reformas llevadas a cabo.

Con moderación de Patricia Moreno (EY México), a continuación de la discusión, los miembros del club estuvieron enfocados en debatir y formular propuestas que serán presentadas al gabinete del nuevo gobierno en un paper lanzado en Infra Mexico GRI 2018 (19 y 20 de septiembre), meeting anual de players locales e internacionales de los sectores de infraestructura y energía en México.

Estuvieron presentes ejecutivos como Leon de Paul (Afore Citibanamex), Emilio Uquillas (CAF Development Bank), Alberto Sánchez (Elecnor), Luis de la Peña (ROADIS), Mario Gabriel Budebo (MIP - EXI CKD), Manuel Rodríguez (Ainda, Energía & Infraestructura), Eduardo Andrade (Sacyr), Fabrice Boucheteil (SUEZ), Eduardo Ramos (CKD IM), Adrián Peña (Grupo HYCSA), Liliana Pereira (Steer Davies Gleave), Ary Naim (IFC), Noé Reza (HSBC), entre otros.

En la agenda, los ejecutivos debatieron diferentes perspectivas sobre los sectores de infraestructura y energía, su viabilidad y efectividad, e idearon propuestas dirigidas al nuevo gobierno en temas vinculados a la independización de la toma de decisión durante el planeamiento del sector, la ejecución de proyectos APPs, las garantías para el player privado al momento de fondear proyectos, los mecanismos y flujos para el avance de las propuestas no solicitadas, la reforma de la evaluación de la inversión pública y el rol del Estado como regulador de los servicios otorgados a la iniciativa privada.

Los miembros de GRI Infra en México ahora se preparan para la agenda de Infra Mexico GRI, que reunirá players públicos y del gobierno de transición, incluyendo Alfredo Vara Alonso (BANOBRAS), representantes de diferentes secretarías, agencias y gobiernos de los principales estados mexicanos. Serán tratados temas vinculados a las perspectivas de los inversores y sponsors para la economía mexicana, las APPs, el Plan Nacional de Infraestructura, el mercado energético de generación y transmisión, los proyectos de gasoductos, los retos de la red aeroportuaria del país y también los principales proyectos de transporte logístico.
